Best Necrobinder Build in Slay the Spire 2

The Necrobinder is a high-risk class that trades HP for power. If you can manage your health, it's the strongest class in the game.

  • Blood Lance (2 energy, deal 15, lose 3 HP) — your main damage dealer.
  • Soul Drain (1 energy, apply 4 Doom, heal 2) — sustain and damage in one card.
  • Dark Pact (1 energy, lose 2 HP, draw 3 cards) — solves your draw problems.
  • Leech (1 energy, deal 6, heal 3) — cheap sustain for hallway fights.
  • Blood Vial — heal 2 at end of each combat. Makes the Necrobinder much safer.
  • Self-Forming Clay — gain 3 block whenever you lose HP. Syncs perfectly with Blood Lance.
  • Toxic Egg — all Doom cards become upgraded.
Avoid healing relics that trigger on turns rather than combats. The Necrobinder needs burst healing between fights.

Skip cards that cost too much HP. Anything above 5 HP cost per card is dangerous unless you have strong sustain.

FAQ

What is the best Necrobinder starting deck?
Start with the 'Blood Acolyte' starter deck. It comes with a Blood Lance and two Leeches.
How much HP should I keep as Necrobinder?
Never go below 30% HP unless you have a campfire coming. One bad fight can kill you.
Is the Necrobinder good for Ascension 20?
Yes, but it's harder than Ironclad or Silent. The risk-reward ratio is tighter at high ascensions.
