Slay the Spire 2 Relic Tier List — Best Relics Ranked
Updated 2026-06-02
Relic Rankings for Early Access
Relics win runs. Here are the best and worst relics in Slay the Spire 2 based on the current early access patch.
| Tier | Relic | Why |
|---|---|---|
| S | Burning Blood | Still Ironclad's starter. Heals 6 HP after each combat. Best sustain in the game. |
| S | Shuriken | Gain 1 Strength on your third card each turn. Scales endlessly with any attack-based build. |
| A | Dead Branch | Exhaust generates random cards. Pairs with Corruption for broken combos. |
| A | Vexing Puzzlebox | Free card each turn. High risk, high reward. |
| B | Wax Relic | Plated Armor and Strength reduction. Solid but not run-defining. |
| B | Ghost Seed | One free death per fight. Saves bad runs. Best for aggressive players. |
| C | Tiny House | One of each resource. Safe pick from a boss chest. Never great, never terrible. |
| F | Runic Dome | Removes enemy intent. Not worth the energy. |
Snecko Eye moved down to A-tier in STS2. The new card pool has more high-cost duds that punish the randomness.
The new Wax Relic and Ghost Seed are both B-tier — useful in the right build but not auto-picks. Dead Branch remains an S-tier combo enabler if you can exhaust cards. Shuriken is the best all-around relic in the game right now.
FAQ
- What is the worst relic in Slay the Spire 2?
- Runic Dome. Removing enemy intent makes you take unnecessary damage. The +1 energy is not worth the blind plays.
- Are any new relics S-tier?
- Ghost Seed is close but not quite S-tier. The new relic "Echo Prism" (duplicates your first power each combat) might be S-tier once people figure out the right setups.
