Slay the Spire 2 Update — What's New
Slay the Spire 2 launched into Early Access in early 2026. Since then, Mega Crit has pushed regular patches. Here's what the latest update changed.
Latest Patch (June 2026)
- Necrobinder: Blood Pact damage reduced from 12 to 9.
- Pyroclast: Forge cap increased from 5 to 6 stacks.
- Ironclad: Heavy Blade now costs 2 energy (down from 3).
- New relic added: Echo Chamber — doubles the next card you play each combat.
- Bug fix: Doom damage no longer scales with Strength incorrectly.
- Bug fix: Byrdonis Egg no longer triggers on potion use.
Mega Crit warned that balance patches will be aggressive during Early Access. Your favorite build might get nerfed next week. Don't get attached.
The development team posts patch notes on Steam every two weeks. They're also active on the official Discord for bug reports and feedback. If you want to influence the game's direction, now is the time to speak up.
